Globe Police and Gila County Sheriff's Deputies are searching for this man, 34 year old Cory Cook.

Globe police responding to a domestic violence call this morning (June 25) were led on a high-speed pursuit with speeds exceeding 100 mph. The pursuit began in the central heights area and ended near the water treatment north of Wheatfields on hwy 188. The suspect, believed to be 34-year-old Cory Cook, was reported to have several felony warrants and a history of being violent with police.
Pursuing officers said on scene that the suspect bailed from his white Ford Taurus, leaving in to crash over the edge of a steep ravine. The suspect then fled on foot into the wash area near the water treatment plant.
The Gila County Sheriff’s Department Tracking dog was called in but the suspect could not be found. Police searched the suspect’s car, it appeared that they found something but officers did not confirm that they had found anything in the car.
Police believed the suspect might have been heading to his fathers house in Holiday Hills Mobile Home Park.
We looked into Cook’s criminal record and discovered that he has an extensive criminal history.
In April of 1999 he was charged out of Maricopa County with 2nd Degree Burglary and Aggravated Assaulted. In a plea He plead guilty to Burglary charges.
In March of 2000 he was charged out of Maricopa County with Assault. He was found guilty.
He served 3 years on an Assault and 2nd Degree Burglary Charge. While in the Arizona Department he received 33 separate disciplinary infractions.
20 minor volitions such as Disobeying Orders, Committing a Sex Act, and Disrespect.
13 of those were major violations including Destruction of Property, Threats, Disobeying Orders, Theft, Possession of Weapons and Drugs. Despite those infractions he was released from prison in 2003.
In June of 2005 He was charged with Assault out of snowflake justice that case was completely dismissed.
In October of 2005 he was charged with disorderly conduct out of Snowflake. That case was completely dismissed.
In January of 2006 he was charged with Resisting Arrest Using Physical Force, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Endangerment. Also out of Snowflake, This case was referred to the Superior Court.
In March of 2006 he was again charged with Resisting Arrest Using Physical Force. This charge was out of Snowflake as well. There is no disposition listed on this case.
In January of 2007 he pled guilty to Disorderly conduct/fighting and sentence to probation and community service out of St. John’s.
In March of 2007 he was charged with 6 counts of Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, 1 count of Aggravated Assault Causing disfigurement, 3 counts of Aggravated Assault in which the victim was Bound or Restrained, and 1 count of disorderly conduct involving weapons, these charges were out of Round Valley and referred to Apache County Superior Court where all charges were completely dismissed.
In 2008 he was charged out of Maricopa County with shoplifting. That case is still in the court.
